Governing Board

Dawn Paradiso-Hansen

CEO- Executive Director

Under Dawn’s leadership, Compassionate Home Health Care Inc. doubled its client base in under a year once becoming Medicaid Certified under the state of Wisconsin. CHHC received their official 501c3 not-for- profit status in April 2010. Dawn helped CHHC move their business model from supplying services to local community members to supporting them through CHHC’s “A Community that Cares’ program, through CHHC’s annual health and hygiene #letsmakeadifference campaign, #HolidayGivingCampaign, #RocktheDockCHHC Music Festival (this is CHHC’s largest fund-raiser held in De Pere, Wisconsin's Voyageur Park) and 3 additional fund-raising events in the fall.

Dawn has helped the organization partner with many businesses and organizations throughout the Greater Fox Valley and Green Bay areas: Fox Valley Technical College, ADRC (Aging and Disabilities Resource Centers), Outagamie County’s W2 Program, (Interns – to provide temp work experience for those with hard skills that need to gain experience for the field they wish to get into), Outagamie Housing Authority (Randal Court, Appleton Housing Authority (River Flat Apartments, Grand View Townhomes, Oneida Heights), ADRC (Aging & Disability Resource Center), St. Vincent de Paul, NEW Community Shelter, Golden House, Green Bay VA, Center for Veterans Issues, House of Hope, Freedom House, St. John’s Homeless Shelter (men’s and woman's), Transformation House, Helping Hands Caregivers, Harbor House, Pillars, NAHBRS (Veterans), Lutheran Social Services, local area grade, middle and High schools.

Budget and access to continuous funding is our largest barrier as a non profit organization to overcome. Dawn continually seeks multiple avenues of income to help maintain and extend Compassionate Home Health Care's reach into the community which includes fundraisers, grant writing, and donations. Dawn continues to develop partnerships with grant donors as well as interrelate with other organizations to reach out to additional resources so we can continue to help families and individuals most vulnerable within our community.

Dawn enjoys spending time with her daughter Sofia Marie (who is currently attending UWM for Architecture), playing board games, building her Lego Kits (it's an obsession of Sofia's) and spending time with their friends in the Fox Valley area. Dawn is a published Author (Social Gathering in Pursuit of the Perfect Relationship, under DMarie Hansen) and has invented, trademarked, and patented the product Kupboard Keepsakes. When she’s not working she enjoys being with her family and friends, working out, writing, gardening, and cooking. Dawn’s passion is to help assist others with the resources that surround her and her motto in life is “Never say can’t because you always can. Just try.
