Each year, Compassionate Home Health Care (CHHC) seeks to help subsidize the high cost of personal care items and cleaning supplies for those who struggle to purchase basic necessities. CHHC’s annual #HolidayGivingCampaign helps support community members by providing them with basic necessities, as many have to decide between food and personal hygiene and a clean home. Some of these items include: shampoo, soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and other everyday essentials.

CHHC collects items throughout the year to help those who face this struggle. Each year, CHHC seeks the support of the community in the collection of items for our #HolidayGivingCampaign. The donations received will be given to our community members throughout Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet and Brown County, in light of the holiday season. Our goal is to help these individuals and their families have a cleaner and healthier start to the holiday season and New Year.

Many of our community members have to decide between eggs or toilet paper, milk or shampoo, bread or soap, groceries or cleaning supplies. Items will go to those in our community who may be more challenged by COVID-19 more than ever before. As we face these challenging times, with COVID-19 social restrictions. Compassionate Home Health Care and it’s local partners want to help educate and advocate for those who are most vulnerable.

Think about our community and to those that are our most vulnerable. Maybe they don’t have the means to get out of their home to get medication or essential personal care products. Maybe they are simply struggling with being alone in this time of self-isolation.

Many people have been affected by COVID-19,  our community members in need are concerned and we are also concerned for them. Compassionate Home Health Care is ready to assist where we can with those who don’t have the means to. Normally we start collecting donations at the end of Oct. thru mid Dec. We have anywhere between 60-70 collection locations. This year things will be a little different. At this time we are not sure at this time how many collection locations we will have due to the pandemic.  So we are reaching out to those community members who can help in our 9th annual #HolidayGivingCampaign.
