GREEN BAY (WLUK) — A new music festival benefiting local health organizations is coming to Green Bay.

Rock The Dock will bring local bands, food and beverage to the CityDeck on Saturday, July 13.

All proceeds from the event will go toward Compassionate Home Health Care, a not-for-profit organization that helps subsidize the high cost of personal care/hygiene items and cleaning supplies to residents in need in Brown, Outagamie, Winnebago and Calumet counties.

The featured bands will include a mix of genres, including rock, reggae, acoustic and funk. Unity the Band, Brass Differential, Shocker, Rob Anthony with special guest Jon Wheelock of J-Council, and Third Degree have committed to the event.

Admission is free and donations are appreciated. Event-goers are encouraged to bring a personal care item (shampoo, hand soap, etc.) or cleaning supply (dish soap, laundry detergent, ect.) to contribute. The first 500 people to bring in a donated item will receive a free drink ticket.
